P(ADS), funded by ads

Free pads, funded by ads.

P(ADS) makes period care freely accessible in public spaces, paid for by the brands that advertise on the envelope.

We turn advertising budgetsinto free pads.

People forget most ads but they remember brands that help them. P(ADS) turns part of your media budget into a real-world utility that creates a strong connection and recall with your audience.

The idea

What even is Pads Funded By Ads?

Brands buy ad space on the sanitary pad envelope and that funding makes the pad free at public venues. It is not a donation drive but an advertising product that funds access.

Current campaign

Now live: Skinroo.

Skinroo brings authentic Korean skincare to India. Their envelope, “We’ve got your back. And your glow.”, is on every free pad across the P(ADS) network in Delhi NCR, with a QR code that takes her straight to their store.

How it works

  1. A P(ADS) stand on a washroom wall

    She notices it

A branded stand, right where she needs it, in a café, office or venue she already visits.

  2. A P(ADS) envelope that reads: this pad is brought to you by your brand

She understands what the brand enabled

The envelope tells her who made this free pad possible, with a QR code to find out more.

  3. A free pad tucked into her handbag

    She remembers the brand differently

Your brand leaves with her as the one that showed up when it mattered.

The envelope is the billboard.

Using your pad safely

  • Check the pack first. Don’t use a pad if its wrapper is torn, damp or dirty, or if it’s past the expiry date printed on it.
  • Wash your hands before and after you change a pad.
  • Change it every 4–6 hours, or sooner if your flow is heavy. Do this even if the pad doesn’t look full.
  • Throw used pads away carefully. Roll the pad up, wrap it in its wrapper or some paper, and put it in a bin. Never flush a pad.
  • If you have had reactions to sanitary pads before, please don’t use this pad. If you choose to use it, you do so at your own risk.
  • Stop using the pad if your skin reacts. If you get itching, a rash, burning or irritation, stop and see a doctor if it doesn’t go away.
